Using ordinary soil, students perform comprehensive soil nutrient and mineral analysis, testing for the presence of 10 nutrients and minerals necessary for adequate plant development. They also determine water content, organic matter content, and pH of several different soil samples. Kit contains enough materials for 30 students working in pairs. Reproducible student worksheets and teacher's guide included. Grades 6-12.
