Because only the right amount of gas will do! Adequate ventilation requires delivering the correct volume of gas in the right amount of time to ensure vital organ oxygenation. Manual ventilation of the unprotected airway using a bag valve mask or manually triggered resuscitator requires maintaining a leak-proof mask seal while simultaneously controlling breath rate, inspiration time and oxygen flow. Uni-Vent™ solves the problem. Simply turn the unit on, set appropriate mode and tidal volume controls, then concentrate on the mask seal. Manual operation and guesswork is eliminated. 701 standard unit has a rechargeable battery, AC-DC operation/recharge, and includes control module, patient valve, hoses, masks and airway, one-way valve, AC charger adapter and carrying/storage case.
