The Ferno® multilevel roll-in cot combines the benefits of a multilevel cot with the easy loading feature of a roll-in style cot. Designed for a variety of ambulance floor heights, the Mobile Transporter™ will work well with station wagons, vans, or modular ambulances. EMTs no longer have to lift from the side to load the cot. One EMT is positioned at the foot end of the cot while the other EMT simply raises the undercarriage during loading. Eight height positions enable easy patient transfer from any couch, bed, or treatment table. The Mobile Transporter™ should be rolled in a level position. The two inclined positions are designed as loading positions for either van or modular ambulances. Safety U-bar and hook holds the Mobile Transporter™ at the rear of the ambulance during unloading as undercarriage is lowered to the ground. Built-in shock position permits instant change in patient positioning by elevating feet 15° (approximately 10”) without compromising patient’s breathing. A model 35-ANM is also available for use in specialized medical treatment areas where the cot must be nonmagnetic. Cot has ergonomic release handles, increased surface area for mounting of accessories and lifting points, dual function safety bar/lift handle, improved legs for increased load capacity. Lubrication-free telescoping legs, grease-free ratchet bar, no-slip grip lift handle, and improved corner castings and wheel securements. 500 lb load capacity. Cot weight 72 lbs. Matress is not included.
