Mass Casualty Incident Management System
The mass casualty incident management system is a complete, ready-to-use system that provides the necessary command equipment and forms for use at an actual mci. The system is composed of a wide variety of custom designed items. Each portfolio contains a plastic clear-view clipboard which can be marked on with a grease pencil. Within the clipboard is a customized, step-by-step checklist to be followed by the officer. The clipboards also hold the specially developed administrative forms that allow each officer to keep track of critical information. The system also includes five color-coded command vests for each of the key ems officers. Additionally, the kit contains triage tags, triage aprons, grease pencils, pens, mechanical pencils, paper and other basic administrative supplies. Color coded marker flags on six-foot fiberglass staffs for marking treatment area sections and the command post are also included. A detailed mci management manual, outlining the theories of mci management and the use of the kit completes the system. All components, except for the marker flags, are organized and packaged together in a durable carrying case. [More Info]
